Allergies

[edit]

Hi. I read the allergies mostly from PDF files, so I can not use them as source. But on the WWW you can find many links concerning the allergen of Cupin superfamily, for example in articles like here -> http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12440948 I did not want to summarize the article though, it would take too long, but perhaps it could be linked to confirm the connection towards allergies? 84.112.136.52 (talk) 16:12, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Struture of the Article

[edit]

The article is presently a bit ... chaotic. It would help to add some more navigation, the history and discover of cupins and so forth. 2A02:8388:1642:D300:3AD5:47FF:FE18:CC7F (talk) 20:40, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Some of this info is unrelated to the topic of Cupin superfamily proteins. For instance, the paragraph on Thomas Osborn should be moved to Thomas Burr Osborne (chemist). As cupins are a remarkably diverse family of proteins, it should be easy to expand upon this page though likely not straightfoward. A good starting point for those interested in doing so would be here (PMID: 14697267). I may do this at a later date. Masstergee (talk) 18:43, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
