Available Information
[edit]For such a common object, a google search suggests this is quite an obscure topic. I incorporated the only informational link I could find that relates to this article. I'm wondering, where did you find this information? It is important to include your sources.Fred.Pendleton (talk) 00:38, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
- I don't think that this is a common object. Some literature distinguishes the saucer from the teacup plate, with the latter mostly confined to the 19th century. Викидим (talk) 21:20, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
Snack Plate with Teacup
[edit]This variant of a specialty plate that has space both for a cup and a snack or dessert should have an entry.
Amazon sells modern versions, and vintage or antique versions show up in Google searches. Ncnorie (talk) 09:28, 22 April 2023 (UTC)
- I would think that the snack plate deserves its own article. Alternatively, a cup and a plate represent a tiny "tea service" for one (cf. Cabaret service) and can be mentioned in the Tea service article. Викидим (talk) 22:35, 22 April 2023 (UTC)
