"Cultural influence" vs. "influence"?
[edit]May I ask what kind of influence the Metamorphoses would have outside human culture? Poems are not known to influence the workings of the natural world, for instance. Cynwolfe (talk) 19:24, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
Removal of Branford Marsalis's Metamorphosen
[edit]Can I see some direct evidence that his 2009 album Metamorphosen was actually influenced by Ovid's work? I'm looking at the album page on his official site and it states the reason for the title is "to emphasize the evolution of both his venerable ensemble (now in its second decade with identical personnel) and each individual member." I don't actually see any evidence Metamorphoses influenced the album and I don't want to see people being misled.
