Is this still a stub?
[edit]When is a stub not a stub? This kind of metaphysical, existentialist question bothers me. Seegoon 01:10, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
- This is no longer a stub. If it was a stub, then it would say "stub" on it. Am I talking to myself? I think I might be. Seegoon 16:39, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
forging a new genre?
[edit]A quote from the Sound section: "..to effectively forging a new genre..." No! Why does it say this? Perhaps the kind of music they are playing, to the degree that it can be described in several words (I'm guessing the genre they're referring to is post-metal?), could be considered a new genre but other bands are playing it as well and I dont think we can say any one of them alone created it. So I just removed that part of the sentence. --Tomtheebomb 08:19, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- Makes sense, it's too strong a statement to include. However there should be some mention of post-metal somewhere I think. Seegoon 17:44, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Cult of luna-logo.png
[edit]Image:Cult of luna-logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:27, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

The Hearbeats mp3
[edit]I'd like to know where I can get it from, seeing as in the article it specifically states that the band wants it to see if it can survive through peer2peer system. In this way we would be not only be recording history in the form on wiki but also being part of it... so can anyone link me to the limited release one? Thanx. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnthepcson (talk • contribs) 22:07, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Opening Paragraph
[edit]I wouldn't say that Cult of Luna's breakthrough album was Salvation, although it was/is their most acclaimed album to date. The video for The Watchtower got played a bit on television channels like Kerrang!, and were on a compilation CD by the Kerrang! Magazine. It also got notable attention from other Rock/Metal magazines such as Metal Hammer around the release of The Beyond. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.217.69.73 (talk) 11:06, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
- Be bold and edit away. This really isn't one of the most controversial articles on Wikipedia, so I don't think you'll cause too many tears. Seegoon (talk) 11:12, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

- Huh? Where does it mention this exactly? There's nothing in there that mentions that being a vegetarian makes you an anarchist. FireCrystal (talk) 06:01, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
