Disease vector?

Another Wiki article claims "Mosquitoes in other genera (Aedes, Culex, Culiseta, Haemagogus and Ochlerotatus) can also serve as vectors of disease agents, but not malaria." but I do not see explicit mention of disease in Culiseta — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.77.208.56 (talk) 02:10, 11 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why California Focus
