Present dishes as a list
[edit]Some suggestions for improvement: After each city or category of cuisine, the article could list the common dishes in the format used in Cuisine of New York City. This requires some wiki markup, but it will ensure that readers notice the most important entries, like Buffalo wings, and (more importantly to me) beef on weck. Lists allow including less significant, but still common dishes.
See WP:DISTINGUISH on how to distinguish this article from other similar articles such as the ones on NYC and Pittsburgh. List the states covered by this article and then "see also" or "for the cuisine of ____, see ____." This will make it clear that the article does not duplicate existing material. - I'll take this into consideration when working on the article. Buffaboy talk 19:54, 21 April 2015 (UTC)
Mid-Atlantic?
[edit]Since when are Virginia and North Carolina not part of the Mid-Atlantic? Virginia in particular, as only part of NC is considered Mid-Atlantic by virtue of watershed. What is the criteria for being "Mid-Atlantic"? Even West Virginia is considered by some maps. This needs to be decided and qualified in the lede, or made more inclusive.
