Per our policy on biographies of living persons, potentially defamatory claims about living persons require a verifiable source from some reliable publication even when appearing on talk pages. Until you can provide proof of outside publication for these claims (and I don't mean speculation on web forums), you should not be making them. Even if you happen to have private knowledge that these claims are true, it doesn't matter unless you can also show that they have been established in prior publications. This is because Wikipedia must apply caution and protect individuals against potential defamation and invasion of privacy associated with unverified claims. 1978-1979

[edit]

The line about the classes from CLC and CLS being split in 1979 is gone again. Source it before putting it in. Cougar Draven 03:37, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I can source it. I was in the class of 1979. In fact, I attended both schools in 1979: AP Chemistry with Mr. Moser for the first two class periods at Crystal Lake South, then bussed over to Crystal Lake Central for the rest of the school day. The two graduating classes held their ten-year reunion together because we never saw ourselves as one class.

I will watch this page and keep it up to date on this matter. Bret S. CLCHS '79 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Otherbeach (talkcontribs) 22:58, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Once again

[edit]

Again I've had to make a few changes to this page. First of all, yet again, source Ms. Stone's attendance or it keeps getting removed. Unfortunately, the same goes for Colleen Dion. As for LCPL Collins, I appreciate the effort, but in all honesty, he is not notable, and therefore is not "famous" under the alumni section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cougar Draven (talkcontribs) 21:22, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
