Pulling information out of your backside

Please don't. I'm not sure if someone misunderstood something, or what, but there was quite a bit of wrong information regarding the *3* new releases.. fixed now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.100.170.18 (talk) 10:31, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Archived

The talk page was too big and too old, so everything got archived. If you wish to continue an old discussion (unlikely), then please proceed to do so here. Thanks!  Dylanlip  (talk) 15:58, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

music samples

the artical claims that the two music sample show how the bands sound has changed but they are both quite smaler in stlye with a quite aggresive hard rock/metal sound. i think replaceing live and learn with one of the less agresive and more popy songs from the nascar arcade sound track woud better reprisent their change in sound88.97.6.98 (talk) 14:54, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

- I agree... I did not hear a difference in sound at all. It was a bit less heavy, but that's it. Sounded like it could be from the same damn album... Swiiman (talk) 00:03, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Stop it please

I would really like people to stop placing whole albums articles in disography sections of bands, please create an article for the album and link it to the band article. Zidane tribal (talk) 23:14, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

Awards?

Is this section true? Crush 40 haven't made a music video for All The Way.....WTF

..someone's strange idea of a joke.. lol - removed it --59.100.230.83 (talk) 10:52, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

Album articles

I'm going to go ahead and use the information in the discography sections to make articles for the albums. Help would be welcomeDeadlyOps (talk) 22:30, 10 July 2010 (UTC): never mind.... someone already did it. my badDeadlyOps (talk) 22:32, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

Really? Metalcore?

how the hell is this band metalcore? i'm changing it to heavy metal —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.48.153.160 (talk) 02:13, 10 September 2010 (UTC)

Article title

Can someone please remove the italics from the article title? This article is about the band, not the album, and thus the title should not be italicised. I'd do it myself if I knew how. DVD Smith (talk) 22:33, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

Alternative Metal/Rock

Hello Crush 40/Sonic fans and Wikipedia editors alike. I have found that nowhere in this article does it mention Crush 40's association with the alternative style. I believe Crush 40's secondary genre is more alternative metal than heavy metal. I also believe Crush 40 incorporates some alternative rock in their music, and some of their earlier releases incorporate punk rock. Therefore, I purpose Crush 40's list of genres be this:

I wait on your approval. Thank you for your time.

P.S.- I am aware that Crush 40 uses no metalcore in their music. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Guy110 (talkcontribs) 21:37, 12 April 2011 (UTC)

Sources

I just spent a significant amount of time digging for secondary coverage for the band and its albums and I'm coming up dry. The band itself is sourced rather weakly and I recommend consideration of merging it into Jun Senoue's article as a section (it can always expand out summary style if sources appear). I also recommend merging all three album articles into wherever the parent goes. I haven't been able to find any secondary source commentary on any of them. Note that I'm not actually proposing these merges yet, but I wanted to float the idea. czar  00:29, 17 May 2014 (UTC)

I left you a response at WT:SEGA already, czar, but I wanted to elaborate a bit here: I'd be perfectly fine supporting the album articles being merged because there isn't a whole lot of critical reviews of their albums themselves, save for maybe the self-titled album, and I don't see that having enough to stand. @Red Phoenix, checking back in on this. Any opposition to a merge into Jun Senoue? czar  21:01, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
I haven't really had a chance to look at it because it's been inventory month at the store I work at, but I do have a concern just on the basis of Johnny Gioeli also having notability for his work with other groups and respective articles as well. It would likely end up warranting a section there as well, and then the information gets a little strung out. Hopefully I can spend some time on a rewrite here soon, but I do have some concern that it would end up being a little primary-source heavy, and that's a shame for a group that plays regularly at the Summer of Sonic festivals and performs music for Sega games since 1998. It's in bad shape now and I can definitely spiff it up if I work on it; I'm just not sure yet if a merge is appropriate or not. I'd be opposed to it personally, but from the devil's advocate position I could see perfect reasonability for a merge as well. Red Phoenix let's talk... 01:54, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
All right—there's no rush. I haven't found any more sources for this one other than what's currently in use. No reason why it couldn't be mentioned on multiple pages, though I thought Senoue would be the most logical redirect target czar  03:06, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
