OS map shows an accent: "Cruach Mhòr" (different from the Irish mountain Cruach Mhór). Aaargh. Not sure what we do about this, but I suspect that OS trumps DoBIH. Policy on Scottish geographical names? Not my specialist subject. PamD 08:56, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Saw that but was not sure what to do as other maps drop the accent (or fada). The MountainViews database of Irish mountains is integrated with a piece of research by an Ulster academic called Paul Tempan, who went through the correct name of many Irish peaks (several of which led to corrections on the OS maps). The DoBIH guys don't seem to have an equivalent input, however, they are pretty thorough, and from time-to-time fix OS maps with issues on maps (although I cannot recall them fixing issues regarding names in the UK). Open to ideas, however! Britishfinance (talk) 09:48, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
