Postal address
[edit]The owner of the D&S Market and gas station mentioned that the town's namesake (Mr. Crow) was also the first postmaster, similar to the situation in Goldson. He also said that Crow no longer has a post office nor a postal address. People on the West side of Territorial Highway have a Veneta address, and people on the East side have a Eugene address. Since he owns two properties in town across the street from each other, he has to write two different city addresses.Visitor7 (talk) 21:32, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
- This is not an unusual situation. Similar strangeness and confusion exists in west Portland, for example, a slow edit war sometimes goes on for Providence St. Vincent Medical Center as to which city it is in: logically it is in Cedar Hills or one the Beaverton burgs, but its postal address is Portland, its school district is Beaverton, and I bet its water district is something else. —EncMstr (talk) 21:46, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
- Actually north of central road is Veneta address on both sides of the HWY. Central road which heads East has Eugene address'. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2dand2j (talk • contribs) 13:44, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
