"Gallery" view
[edit]I'm not going to revert, but I think the three images on the bottom looked better before they were put into the gallery template. Anyone agree? —Cleared as filed. 11:59, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
- Agree. I'll try one revert, see how it goes. —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 18:57, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
- I have no feelings either way. I just noticed that Lordkinbote's edit misplaced the gallery tag and removed the stub and cat listing as a result. [1] --Viriditas 20:45, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
"Exicornt"
[edit]See (ugh) Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Exicornt. Exicornt itself has had to be protected as a {{deletedpage}}. An "exicornt vandal" has also worked his or her way through a number of Wiktionary languages. In short, any insertion of the word "exicornt" in any article should be treated as vandalism. —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 04:28, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- This user, Bunchofgrapes, actually started the dispute as to whether Exicornt exists. He is the one who created Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Exicornt because he seems to be bothered by any mention of the word. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 152.163.101.9 (talk • contribs) 06:37, May 24, 2006 (UTC)
- It's true! It's true! Other words that bother me when people try to get them into Wikipedia are "splurgistrami" and "ffyxcistive". —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 15:05, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- Well, just because you hate the word doesn't mean mentioning it in WP is vandalism. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 152.163.101.9 (talk • contribs) 02:53, 25 May 2006 (UTC).
- Not, again, please, not again. —Viriditas | Talk 03:03, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
- Stay calm; Have a cup of tea and a splurgistrami sandwich :-) —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 03:12, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. As you can imagine, I'm very disappointed to learn that a certain somebody did not give up this issue like he said he would, and instead has been causing mischief on wiktionary and other wikipedias. —Viriditas | Talk 09:14, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Reviving this dead horse, I've lately had to delete and protect Exicornt. (with a period), Exicornt (with a space) and their related talk pages. Clever. --MichaelZimmer (talk) 11:43, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
Deletion review
[edit]Please see Wikipedia:Deletion_review#Exicornt. I think WP:DRV is the right place to discuss this slang term. --Eddie, Thursday May 25 2006 at 14:04 14:04, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
Today DVD R W deleted exicornt/switch and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exicornt%C2%A0. (couldn't figure out how to link directly to that one). One persistent vandal. --Rkitko 05:16, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
Shouldn't this topic be combined with "Railroad switch". It seems a bit pointless out on it own. --7severn7 14:52, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
On reflection I think the first portion should be combined with "Railroad switch" and the second in a section relevant to "Railway operating". What do others think?--7severn7 10:05, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
