I saw that this article didn't exist and went to pubmed and searched in quotations "alcohol industry" and then clicked on reviews per WP:MEDRS to discuss the scientific and medical effects of the alcohol industry. All of the reviews were critical of the alcohol industry so the article reflects the literature on the alcohol industry. However, if other editors wish to add balance to the article on benefits of the alcohol industry and can find reliable secondary sources then go ahead. Just incase I was accused of being biased I thought that I would explain that I am just following what the scientific literature says. :)--Literaturegeek | T@1k?03:00, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This article is poorly written, is imprecise, and hasn't had editing for years.
Why is the alcohol industry not the chemical/industrial alcohol industry? Is there a separate alcoholic beverage industry as opposed to non-alcoholic beverage industry or is the division in the minds of the authors? Wokopedian (talk) 17:12, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
