Untitled

This is directed to the person who slapped the trivia tag on the front page; please explain. Simply automatically tagging an article because one is unfamiliar with the subject matter does very little else but ultimately kill WikiPedia. Please explain. The tag has been up for weeks, and despite my call for discussion, no-one has so much as bothered to explain the tag. I thought the article was tagged simply because it was an article about a musician, but since Mike Starr has a tinier, worse referenced and more insignificant page, plus Starr's contributions are arguably of much lesser notability than Bonacci's, this seems not to be the case. The only conclusion I can draw is that WikiPedia's tagging policy is completely arbitrary. Unless someone proves me wrong, I am correct. Thank you. --Tirolion 21:25, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a "non removal policy" regarding the tags? I've noticed a certain WikiPedia trend as of late; when an article has been tagged, the tag is then never removed. Birthdate?

If someone's watching this page, is it possible to get a confirmation on Cris' birthyear? 1966 is far too recently if she was playing in Melbourne pubs in the late 70s. --BrianFG (talk) 16:48, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
