Fair use rationale for Image:Creekview hs.JPG
[edit]Image:Creekview hs.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Marching Band
[edit]During the 2008 football season the show is "Living in America" consisting of "Living in America", "God Bless The USA" and "We're an American Band". They will also be hosting the Cherokee Marching Band Exibition where they will prove to be the best band in the County. They will also be hosting the Creekview Classic the very first compotition to be held in Cherokee County. The Marching Grizzlies will have a special award to the band that shows the most spirit. This award is in Memory to Mrs. Ivester the founding uniform mom that is greatly missed in the walls of the band room at Creekview.
Saturday, October 6th, 2007 was a busy day for the year old Grizzlies, as they entered their first competition of the year at the Super Bowl of Sound in Carrollton, Georgia with their show Wicked, based on the Broadway musical. They brought home first place for Colorguard and Percussion, second for Overall Band, and third for their drum major, Marissa Lee. They were led by band director, Mr. Rob Opitz (and still are), and consisted of grade 9-11. They went on to a parade and performed at a competition in Jacksonville, Florida, the winner of which went on to perform before game at the Gator Bowl, they also participated in the mass band half-time show.
As a single A band in '06, the band went to competition at the Fort Mountain Classic in Murray County, Georgia. They placed first in their class with their tribute to The Beatles, playing the hit songs, Magical Mystery Tour, A Hard Day's Night, Hey Jude, and Eleanor Rigby. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.130.151.136 (talk) 18:47, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Canton, Ga?
[edit]The title of this article is incorrect. The highschool is several miles east of Canton in the unincorporated community of Macedonia. In no way should this article be titled referring to Canton. If anything, it should be moved to the new title as Creekview High School (Cherokee County, Georgia). Anyone have thoughts on that change? — TadgStirkland401 (TadgTalk) 18:53, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
- Change that. As I look at the naming of other school articles on Wikipedia, I see the naming practice is more like XXXX High School (Georgia). As examples, see: Cherokee High School (Georgia), Etowah High School (Georgia), Sequoyah High School (Georgia), Woodstock High School (Georgia). Exceptions to this common practice include Creekview High School (Canton, Georgia) and River Ridge High School (Woodstock, Georgia). There's really no need for the city name to be part of the title. If you compare the disambiguation page Cherokee High School with others, the "school name (state)" format seems to be most common across Wikipedia. By contrast, the disambiguation page Creekview High School shows 2 school names and the "city, state" suffix. To fudge the system on the River Ridge High School disambiguation page, a redirect was created with the state suffix and added to that disambig page. If no one feels this is a controversial renaming, I am willing to move/rename the article. If it is controversial, we can discuss it here. Thoughts, anyone? (I started a similar discussion on Talk:River Ridge High School (Woodstock, Georgia)) — TadgStirkland401 (TadgTalk) 03:08, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
