Creative Labs?
[edit]What exactly is the difference between Creative Labs and Creative Technology? I see too many conflicting information and they seem to be the same thing. They are not separate companies for sure. But why are their names different? --Gammbow (talk) 15:29, 10 July 2021 (UTC)
According to [www.referenceforbusiness.com]: "In Europe, meanwhile, Creative acquired computer products distributor Westpoint Creative, which was renamed Creative Labs (UK) Ltd. The following year, the company opened manufacturing facilities in Dublin, Ireland, through subsidiary Creative Labs (Ireland)."
It seems that Creative Labs is subsidiary to Creative Technology Ltd.
So in that case, it would be more technically accurate to refer to Creative corporately as Creative Technology Ltd. --MasterSushi (talk) 19 August 2021
I have sourced from their official website that both Creative Technology Ltd and Creative Labs Pte Ltd are official names of the main company. It seems even the Labs name is in use locally. --148.252.129.157 (talk) 10:29, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
