Disney+ release over iQiYi
I saw some Disney+ socials (including Indonesia[1], Malaysia[2], Thailand[3], even Hongkong[4] and Taiwan[5]) that they're going to release Crazy Love. I even saw Taiwan Disney+ even got Korean poster for Crazy Love on Disney+ Star as well.[6] Maybe it's time to replace iQiYi with Disney+ than? – VernardoLau (talk) 10:26, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
- @VernardoLau Provide secondary reliable sources to show it's Disney+ Original instead of iQiYi Original which was reported by more than dozen of Korean news media (including the current source included in the article) then, and also confirmed by iQiYi via their Twitter [1] as primary source. If there isn't any such news of it being Disney+ Original, then it's pretty much violations of WP:NOTDATABASE, WP:NOTTVGUIDE, and MOS:TVINTL. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 10:28, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Paper9oll There was an article from Tatler Asia that Disney+ is going to release Crazy Love. As it mentioned that it will be released on Disney+ Hotstar, which of course include Disney+ contents.[7] *Also there was Disney+ Singapore confirming that they're releasing Crazy Love as well.[8] Hmm, I wondered why Korean media still haven't received the news? – VernardoLau (talk) 08:34, 1 March 2022 (UTC)
- @VernardoLau For the final time, this isn't about airing on Disney+ in country A, B, C, D, and so and so forth. They (Disney+) can do whatever they want but it's still not their own original programming, they're just a distributor (not even exclusive btw) period. My stand is that this sentence "
As a iQiYi's originals, it will be available for streaming on the platform in selected regions
" is there to stay whether you like it or not since you can't even WP:PROVEIT to me that it's Disney+ original instead of iQiYi original which is what I've been reiterating on. Unless you can WP:PROVEIT to me that it's Disney+ original instead of distributed by Disney+ on here and there, otherwise this is considered as no consensus to change and/or replace and/or inclusion. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 08:58, 1 March 2022 (UTC)- @Paper9oll Well, Disney+ has confirmed earlier that they've brought the distribution rights for Crazy Love. Already quoted on the articles via THR:"Disney+ has also picked up the forthcoming high-concept romantic drama Crazy Love, which is produced by Arc Media and begins airing on Korean broadcaster KBS next Monday."[9] So, isn't this enough to clarified that iQiyi has not longer owned this K-drama or are they still evolved into co-production? Waiting for your reply on whether this would allowed to replace the distributors. – VernardoLau (talk) 10:52, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
- @VernardoLau Done added, consider this as my "close-one eye" approach even though I rarely did. However a warning/advice ahead, DO NOT replace "selected regions" with individual countries as that isn't what reliable secondary news sources has reported else I will have to consider it as WP:OR and DO NOT add specify location/channel like Hotstar, Star or whatever bullshit marketing name, on where exactly to watch it on Disney+ itself, English Wikipedia is not a TV guide, those details can be reserved from unreliable source/self-publishing source like DramaWiki, MyDramaList, Fandom, etc instead. And also, don't bother arguing with me because it's listed on List of Hotstar original programming or here and there, those lists are 75% WP:OR in my opinion. I'm closing one-eye for inclusion of available for streaming on Disney+ only period, and nothing more than that. Finally, DO NOT remove "

" unless you can answer what I have questioned above which you sadly have not been able to do so, the latest reporting from THR proofs nothing.

- And btw, in case you have this misconception that Disney+ is streaming X hence another streaming provider (not referring to television network) cannot stream X concurrent, you're wrong, I have seen Korean series (including recent ones) being cross-streamed concurrently on more than 1 platform in services I subscribed to (Netflix, Disney+, Viu, Viki are the ones I paid subscribed to), and those are normally not original programming meaning the streaming provider (again not referring to television network) didn't self-produced the series like Rookie Cops is self-produced by Disney/Disney's affiliated/Disney's subsidiaries/Disney's contracted companies hence is considered as original programming while Crazy Love is produced by KBS/KBS's affiliated/KBS's subsidiaries/KBS's contracted companies hence is not considered as original programming. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 12:27, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
