GA

[edit]

I'd still like to see more about the company's product line and the reasons for its successes, but the documenting of its corruption and downfall is good enough to satisfy me. Durova 04:12, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Crazy Eddie sold 35mm SLR cameras, TVs, VCRs, stereo components (amplifiers, FM receivers, speakers, turntables for vinyl records) and videogames. They were successful not because of "high pressure sales tactics," but because of Crazy Eddie's low price guarantee. If you walked in without a clue, you might overpay; knowledgeable customers would bring in a competitor's newspaper ad and Crazy Eddie would undercut the price by a nominal amount ("Crazy Eddie will beat any price you can find on anything he sells.")Mbstone (talk) 05:29, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The Accountant (2016)

[edit]

Most wikipedia articles include a section on notable popcultural references. In the film The Accountant, Ben Affleck's character mentions "Crazy" Eddie Antar and explains the scheme. Should that be included in the article? Otto von B. (talk) 21:44, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
