"With the opening of harbour facilities in the 1940 and the arrival of the railway in the 1850s,..." Surely the date of the harbour opening was 1840?

The footnote [2] is a dead link. Ontario Heritage Foundation have completely redesigned their webpages. The intro paragraph and the History paragraph are repeats of just about the same information. --Oldontarian (talk) 18:25, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
