More Craig Stevens's
[edit]According to IMDb, there are eight people called Craig Stevens. Yet only one of them seems to be known about here. The only Craig Stevens I'm familiar with is the one who used to present BrainTeaser. -- Smjg 18:58, 24 August 2005 (UTC)
The word "propaganda" seems a bit strong. These were patriotic pro-American films and, after all, America was on the side of freedom in WW II. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.49.22.149 (talk) 02:16, 21 May 2016 (UTC)
Similar To Cary Grant
[edit]Craig Stevens' acting style and voice is an exact copy of Cary Grant's. Was this deliberate or did they have the same acting teachers or what? Anybody know? 63.192.100.101 (talk) 04:02, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
- Cary, Craig, and Gig Young had the same barber, Vincent Zarano, of Glendale, CA.98.110.35.110 (talk) 03:12, 15 May 2013 (UTC)Armand Baciagallupo
Removed uncited information
[edit]"Craig Stevens had a small role in the movie "Since You Went Away" playing a merchant marine soldier who is receiving therapy at the hospital where Jane (Jennifer Jones) volunteers to get over the fear of water because he was injured during battle on a ship. Did he really get a bachelor's degree in 1936?
[edit]If he was born in 1918, wouldn't be incredible if he got a bachelor's degree in 1936? 2600:1700:2890:7540:FD50:43BB:367C:9A02 (talk) 07:18, 5 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for raising that question!
- After I read your post I checked the cited newspaper article. It did not mention his college degree, so I removed that part of the article. The source also gave a different university from the one that this article had, so I changed that, too.
- I also added a "citation needed" template for the date of birth. Unfortunately (like many biographies of actors and actresses on Wikipedia) this date of birth is unsourced, so we can only wonder whether it is correct. Eddie Blick (talk) 01:43, 6 March 2023 (UTC)
