[edit]Hi, I found this page and discovered it needed Cleanup. I've done some work on it as follows:
1) Removing excessive linking - for example, every time Middlesbrough was mentioned it was turned into a link. Modified this so that only the first mention is turned into a link.
2) Editing text to match what I perceive an Encyclopedia Article to need - fewer references to "Craig" in referring to the player, trying to arrange text into logical paragraphs, tidying punctuation etc.
I think there is still more to do before it can be untagged, but it also could do with expansion in some areas - at the moment it seems to just take the career details from for example Soccerbase and present them in a more verbose way. I think it would be better to include some other details, and if I have time I may try and do this and add appropriate references - for example, I believe he scored the first goal at Middlesbrough's new stadium and took a pay cut to stay with them at one point - I don't have references to hand but they shouldn't be hard to find.

Coach vs Manager
[edit]Hignett's official job title is Assistant Head Coach. There's been some back and forth between manager vs coach. It does not matter what term you prefer, we should use his official title. http://www.mfc.co.uk/team/academy/whos-who.aspx — Preceding unsigned comment added by Samspade79 (talk • contribs) 23:00, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
Trivia about a 5 a side team
[edit]To the member or members of the team that keep putting this back in please justify it or let it be removed. Your "reference" appears to be a single tweet in reply to one of you. This proves absolutely nothing about his support for the team. In addition, his support or not is not relevant to this article and the claim of several boro plyers supporting the team is not backed up by the tweet at all. Please either show relevance and a reliable source or stop vandalising the page. noq (talk) 18:50, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
