In different cultures??
None of the "in different cultures" items had any different take on the definition of the phrase, so they come out seeming like a crab mentality is an aspect of those cultures. As such it was a baseless accusation and meanspirited, so I removed it. maxsch (talk) 13:36, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
Prisoner's Dilemma
I wonder if this article could usefully link to the one for Prisoner's dilemma. --Malcohol (talk) 09:35, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
Origins
There is a similar thought process in the black community. Referred to as the "Crab syndrome," I've heard of it at least as far back as the 1970s, and no, it can't be ascribed to any one individual. I would suggest the origins of the term not be tied to any one person. -- mhking (talk) 18:14, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
