Looks like Heinlein changed his mind on assault
[edit]In this Coventry story published in 1940 he is willing to brainwash/deport a guy who just doesn't fit in and, the horror, hits somebody. By contrast, in 1966 Moon Is a Harsh Mistress the attitude to fighting (to the point of extrajudicial killing!!) is much more lenient to say the least. We also see a lot more individualism and celebration of revolt against oppressive social norm in various stories about Lazarus Long. Talk about a man growing up :) 76.24.104.52 (talk) 05:34, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Fader's True Identity?
[edit]I've always harboured a sneaking suspicion that Fader was yet another pseudonym of Woodrow Wilson Smith, aka Lazarus Long. Although Coventry Predates the earliest of the Lazarus Long stories, it seems like Fader possesses a lot of character traits similar to Lazarus.
