Redundancy
[edit]Have you been confused today? I left a comment at Talk:Court of Criminal Appeal (disambiguation)#Merge of related articles that apparently the articles listed could be merged. I would say some cleanup would be in order to reduce redundancy (and even double redundancy), "then", there can be a look at possibly merging a lot of stub articles. I am just trying to look at lessening some confusion that becomes even more apparent with all the disambiguation. "Disambiguation in Wikipedia is the process of resolving the conflicts that arise when a single term is ambiguous". Wikipedia:Disambiguation states (in a nutshell) "It is necessary to provide links and disambiguation pages so that readers typing in a reasonably likely topic name for more than one Wikipedia topic can quickly navigate to the article they seek.", and I think it may have been carried a little too far.
- Is it possible that someone can straighten this up without a lot of work? I am sure the articles Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals, Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals and, Texas Court of Criminal Appeals do not really need to be included. Otr500 (talk) 01:28, 6 September 2013 (UTC)
- I have merged most of this into a subsection of Appellate court addressing appellate courts with specialized jurisdiction. bd2412 T 00:41, 23 January 2019 (UTC)
