Fair use rationale for Image:Beach Boys - Ten Little Indians.jpg
[edit]Image:Beach Boys - Ten Little Indians.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:27, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
think ahead to 1965
[edit]Notice the reference to "spoken-word narration". We'd hear something like that again in 1965 on the Summer Days (and Summer Nights) album in "Amusement Parks USA". Brian Wilson had been urged to make more "Beach Boys type" music after record executives heard side 2 of The Beach Boys Today!. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.20 (talk) 18:04, 19 February 2015 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: moved using County Fair (Beach Boys song) -- JHunterJ (talk) 12:17, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
– There is WP:NOPRIMARY for this term either by pageviews or importance. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 06:05, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. No indication that The Beach Boys song ever gained such iconic status that it overshadowed the combined notability of the other ten entries upon the disambiguation page. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 06:35, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- Weak support the song gets the most views of "County Fair" (the 1950 film getting 41 v 149 for the song[[1]]) but given the existence of Agricultural show and the number of other uses its probably safest to disambiguate. Crouch, Swale (talk) 10:03, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- Support per Crouch In ictu oculi (talk) 21:48, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- Support. I would think the base name would be better off as a WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT to Agricultural show based on everyday use when the <Insert name here> County Fair comes around (often shortened further "Let's go to the County Fair"), but the nom seems acceptable. -2pou (talk) 02:31, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
- In MOS terms, you're going the (uncapitalised) county fair (in the same way that "show" is uncapitalised). Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 10:06, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- Agreed in the eyes of WP and the MOS. I meant more that the average searcher won't know that, but I do think the nom works and it does follow guidelines for strict followers of WP:DIFFCAPS. -2pou (talk) 15:31, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- If someone is searching for the generic topic and they capitalize they will still have the 1st link to get there, I think that's enough. Crouch, Swale (talk) 22:11, 11 December 2020 (UTC)

- Support as proposed. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 10:06, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- Weak oppose: County Fair (song) is potentially ambiguous, as we have an article on County Fair/Rainbows. BegbertBiggs (talk) 09:45, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
