Classification as reality TV show
[edit]How is this classified as a reality show if they do not show the restorations? It should be called a'scripted reality'! Brendenhows (talk) 21:50, August 18, 2012
- I've seen them show the restorations. Or at least parts of them.
- But in either case, what does that have to do with whether it's a reality show? How is whether they show restorations related to whether it's scripted?
- Also, please don't forget to sign your talk page posts. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 02:05, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
Missing an episode from the list
[edit]This show has 13 episodes, not 12. Episode 8 is missing, and the rest are numbered incorrectly.
Title: "Politically Correct". Description: "Danny and Shannon honor fallen troops with a custom patriotic motorcycle. Later, Danny and Kevin push the limit to acquire a `71 Monte Carlo, and then have a tough decision to make when a heart-broken customer can't pay up." Air Date: 9/4/2012

Recently added content removed
[edit]if i have added something about ryan n danny which is quit true then y its been removed??? Harshit.h9world (talk) 20:19, 21 December 2014 (UTC)
- As was indicated in the edit summary,[23] we do not include nicknames in the infobox. The
starring
field is for the actual names of those credited in starring roles. The content that you added regarding Ryan appears to have been copied from another source and is therefore a copyright violation. In addition to what was stated in the edit summary, the content that you added before the citation is not supported by the citation and was improperly formatted. These are issues that can be fixed but as the content is a copyright violation, it doesn't belong in the article anyway. What you have now added in this edit is unsourced. --AussieLegend (✉) 20:48, 21 December 2014 (UTC)
Production credits
[edit]I'm finding nothing in the show's press releases that confirm a creator's name.
- Here's what the 07/25/12 release that introduced the show says:
"COUNTING CARS is produced for HISTORY by Leftfield Pictures. Zachary Behr and Julian Hobbs are Executive Producers for HISTORY. Executive Producers for Leftfield Pictures are Brent Montgomery, David George, and Shawn Witt. Joel Patterson is Co-Executive Producer for Leftfield Pictures."
- The second season's 03/14/13 debut release] the very same thing.
- The 07/09/14 release says:
"COUNTING CARS is produced for HISTORY by Leftfield Pictures. Zach Behr and Ed de Rivaz serve as Executive Producers for HISTORY. Executive Producers for Leftfield Pictures are Brent Montgomery, David George, and Shawn Witt. Tom Romita and Jonathan Wyche are Co-Executive Producers for Leftfield Pictures."
Finally, the 02/02/15 release says:
"COUNTING CARS is produced for HISTORY by Leftfield Pictures. Zachary G. Behr and Ed de Rivaz serve as Executive Producers for HISTORY. Executive Producers for Leftfield Pictures are Brent Montgomery, David George, Shawn Witt, and Simon Thomas. Jonathan Wyche and Sean Moran are Co-Executive Producers for Leftfield Pictures."
--Tenebrae (talk) 02:24, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
- The creator's name is likely OR, added by an IP here. Even imdb doesn't list him. --AussieLegend (✉) 12:21, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
I've removed the recently added "co-executive producers" from the infobox "Executive producers" field. This has been discussed elsewhere in the past and the field is only for "Executive producers", as indicated by the name. In any case, the field is now over-populated. Fields in the infobox should not be huge, the rule of thumb is around 5, and there are 8 already, plus the two now formatted headings making 10 lines. When there are so many it's best to list them in the prose, rather than bloating the infobox. --AussieLegend (✉) 17:32, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
