Added more info
[edit]Kind of shocked and surprised the level of criminality of the Dockers and Painters union is not exposed more, so added further info. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.174.180.184 (talk) 06:18, 26 October 2020 (UTC)
- I agree this article is very limited in its content.--Jack Upland (talk) 08:55, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
- Most of the articles involving Australian Royal Commissions don't go into too much detail with a couple of notable exceptions. Gusfriend (talk) 09:53, 6 September 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Any particular reason the official name is not being used? Dankru 12:13, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- The Commission is universally called the Costigan Commission. The official name is quite long-winded and is never used. Occasionally, a name along the lines of 'Costigan Commission into the Painters and Dockers Union' is used, but this has no official status and no standard form. Moreover, as the article explains, the Commission was far from merely investigating the union, so the official name is misleading.--Jack Upland 23:34, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
