Not Calycadnus

[edit]

Original introductory sentence was: Corycus was an ancient city in Cilicia Trachaea, Anatolia, located at the mouth of the Calycadnus (now Göksu). I cleared the name Calycadnus (Göksu) and wrote Şeytan deresi instead. Because the river in question is not Calycadnus (Göksu) . (Funny, this is not the first time I came accross this article, I haven't noticed it before) Actually Calycadnus (Göksu) is a river further in the west, close to Silifke . The distance between the mouths of both rivers is about 20 kilometres (12 mi). (too bad I don't know the ancient name of Şeytan deresi, but I'll look for it) Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 13:07, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
