This species is not listed in MSW3, not even as a subspecies or synonym. As such, I highly doubt the validity. - UtherSRG(talk) 14:53, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

The Corsican Giant Shrew is a prehistoric mammal (or better that said it became extinct in the early holocene). MSW 3 are listed only recent mammals which became extinct after 1500. --Melly42 (talk) 16:26, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
