- User with IP 206.255.191.110 - I'm going to do a re-write on this whole article, it is both NPOV and written in a manner that addresses the reader directly. Also, Wikipedia is not a proper place to document yourself, or your own activities. Given that the multiple surface piercings involved in a corset piercing have close to 0% chance of healing, this article is misleading, given any publicly available or generally accepted information on the practice. If you have access to documentation that backs up your claims, either offline or online, it needs to be cited. I will also be removing any material that would come across as "how-to" or "advice", as Wikipedia is not a "how-to" guide nor a source of medical advice. I'm not an administrator, but I am a user doing many major edits of body modification related activity, and I will be monitoring this article and any related articles. I have already removed inappropriate healing time information from the body piercing article. Let's not get into a revision war here, regardless of your enthusiasm for corset piercing. I'm sorry, I had initally planned on writing the article so at least there was one and to come back and write the rest. Thank you though for making it more complete. this makes me Happy :).
- bjork's video for "Pagan Poetry" shows her getting pierced and it shows her with a corset piercing, you might want to check it out and include it in the article. Amirman 12:33, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
- Unidentified User - This article is inaccurate. This piercing does not guarantee failure IF DONE CORRECTLY. Surface piercings do have a high rate of failure, however, there are pieces of jewelry designed specifically for surface pierces. Surface bars can be used and would make the risk of rejection much lower. I am adding this information to the page. 12:34, 23 July 2007
Corset Piercing External Links
[edit]As we pretty much have no source on it, I added my site Corset Piercing on the External links section, my link was removed, no problem, but what do I have to prove to add it? We perform corset piercings for conventions mostly. Do you need a physical address?190.210.126.153 (talk) 16:20, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
