Article is not neutral

Despite depending on establishment foundations and corporations for most of its funding, Correctiv claims to be "nonprofit, independent and investigative".

This sentence is neither provable nor disprovable (also, what ist the definition of an establishment foundations?). Maybe the author can explain how they think that Correctiv is neither nonprofit (this is a legal status btw.), independant (do the donors have some requirements?), nor investigative?
