This is a largely-useless article about history - practically nobody would expect to read any of this outdated stuff under the current page heading. It should be re-named to "History of Corporation tax in the Republic of Ireland" 203.45.103.88 (talk) 03:29, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

This is a very interesting and authoritative-sounding article. However, it has almost no citations. Every quote, trend, statistic should be cited. JoelWest (talk) 22:06, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

Upgrade of article (March 2018)

Hello fellow Wikipedians, have upgraded this article materially and fixed most of the history section (still need to fix the links / references for the first part of the history section) Britishfinance (talk) 09:28, 4 April 2018 (UTC)

Finished a final re-write of this and added new sections. It is a boring topic but the engine of Ireland's economy (and with some interesting challenges). Hope it is of help. Britishfinance (talk) 17:41, 12 April 2018 (UTC)

Upgrade November 2018

Re-wrote this again to clean up and add more tables and facts from the Revenue on the tax statistics and historical rates and returns. Also cleaned up lede (took out the quote in lede etc. to de-editorialise it). Ireland has probably one of the most advanced and interesting corporate tax systems in the world, and it is an important part of Ireland's economy. Therefore worthy of such attention.
