Feedback
[edit]- I appreciate the feedback. You're right that the cited news coverage of the CSA examples covered in this article were not referred to as "CSA." However, the recent research paper in which the term CSA was coined (Bhagwat et al. 2020[1]) identified these instances as CSA. Would it help if I stated this more explicitly in the article?AndrewEdelblum (talk) 21:24, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
Proposed merge of Woke capitalism into Corporate sociopolitical activism
[edit]- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
- To merge as proposed given the overlap and for context. Klbrain (talk) 12:32, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
Same subject. Or rather, this is a recent neologism used as shorthand to express cynicism or outrage about corporate activism (which that article already covers). — Rhododendrites talk \\ 18:34, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
- Support As proposed, this can be covered in that article, just like the Go woke, go broke that is currently its own standing article, but doesn't provide much beyond the mention that is already covered here currently can all just be merged into a few paragraphs at Corporate sociopolitical activism. Raladic (talk) 19:03, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
- Support. If we are merging stuff then this is both the primary topic and the better article to use as a base. The Woke capitalism article is a bit of a mess of POV with some dubious claims and would need to be merged in carefully. Fortunately there isn't too much of it. One possibility is that Stakeholder Capitalism is a separate topic (more akin to Cooperative ownership than this) and might need to be merged or redirected elsewhere. Also, please note that there might be an incoming merge from Go woke, go broke as being discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Go woke, go broke too. --DanielRigal (talk) 19:23, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
- Support in principle, but I am a little bit concerned about article size. I think if it can be pulled off, we should pull it off, but retain the individual POVs like GWGB as a section. InvadingInvader (userpage, talk) 22:28, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
- Support per the above. —GnocchiFan (talk) 13:50, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- Support: They cover the same subject and 'woke capitalism' is just a neologism, not a brand-new concept. WhoAteMyButter (🌇talk│🍂contribs) 04:58, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
