Request to add info about school's basketball team being sanctioned in 2021

[edit]

Coronado High School made national headlines in June/July 2021 due to an incident in which students threw tortillas at a predominantly Latino opposing team following the Divison 4-A regional basketball championship game against Orange Glen High School. After an investigation, the team's behavior was found to be disciminatory and racially insensitive, and they lost their title, was placed on probation through the end of the 2024 school year, and told to go through racial and cultural sensitivity training. There are a lot of news articles but the one from CNN captures the essentials: https://www.cnn.com/2021/07/01/us/california-team-stripped-of-title-over-racism/index.html

Thank you User:Traveliter. I've collected a number of RS, enough for a whole section about this.
