Lorne Armstrong Paragraph
[edit]Under Notable Residents, there's a line mentioning Lorne Armstrong. Someone is repeatedly putting non-encyclopedic, apparently joking, content there. That is beyond inappropriate and is completely unacceptable for any encyclopedia entry. This article, over a tiny village in rural Maine, may actually need to be locked. I believe I know who this troll is, and he will NEVER stop doing this until the article is locked. Smyslov (talk) 00:26, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
- I've removed the Lorne Armstrong mention. It is uncited so it's a WP:BLP violation. Additionally, I don't believe he's notable/appropriate for this list. only (talk) 01:13, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
- I haven't checked the old edits, which may have been juvenile, but Lorne Armstrong is a notable person, especially for a place as small as Cornville, Maine. He has a very popular internet and YouTube following spanning at least a decade, which is increasingly a popular force on the internet. He has been the sole plaintiff of a variety of lawsuits against NBC. He is indeed notable / appropriate, and I have added him as such. I have attempted to add his relevancy in a tasteful and good faith manner that is neutral in its POV. This is not a joke, nor am I a troll, nor am I the same user. It may bother you that he is notable, but alas, he is.Wikiguyman888 (talk) 05:35, 10 May 2022 (UTC)
