NPOV regarding Princeton Review

The portion of the article listing how Cornell College ranked in the Princeton Review removed the "worst food" category. It is determined to be as important by the Princeton Review, as the article should as well.O76923 (talk) 00:34, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

Greek Life

I've noticed the Greek Life section has had a number of changes recently. This is why I originally tagged the section with POV. At the moment there seems to be a dispute on whether the Owls and the KDChis are groups. My understanding is that they are groups although one or both may be dormant during the next academic year. If that is in fact the case, a note should be added at the beginning that some groups are inactive and parenthetically note them. O76923 (talk) 19:56, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Why would either group be eliminated... I haven't heard anything of that sort both groups (Owls in particular) have a large number of members —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.25.34.180 (talk) 05:53, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

I honestly do not know why either group would be eliminated. All I know is that they have been removed and reverted repeatedly. O76923 (talk) 08:12, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

I think I'm going to remove the NPOV tag for now, since the information appears more stable lately and I think that it could be confusing to people. Feel free to add it back, if needed. Shanata (talk) 10:34, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

As of May 2010, both the KDChis and the Owls are both very much active, Sigma Tau lost its charter from Greek Council due to an extended period of ineffective leadership and dwindling numbers —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.120.38.54 (talk) 05:57, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Out of Date Information

The information cited regarding enrollment, admissions, and academic statistics are all based on the 2006-2007 school year. The list of social groups is out of date since at least one of them went dormant this year. The college is in search of a new president because the current one left at the end of this academic year (although she may still officially be president through July 1). A 2005 article on Cornell's website is used as a primary reference and the 2006 US news and world report is referenced. Cornell has changed significantly in the past 5 years and the article needs thorough updating, possibly a rewrite. O76923 (talk) 08:07, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

The above information is not accurate. The president, Les Garner, 1) is not a she, but a he and 2) has not left and has no plan to. He will celebrate 15 years at Cornell College this year. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jack10473 (talkcontribs) 22:01, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Jack10473 is correct on both counts. One was a typo and one has since turned out to be a rumor. O76923 (talk) 08:10, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

Everything looks to be up to date, stats, new president, social groups etc. I'll take down the out of date notice. NGC1976 (talk) 01:20, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

Harry Kalas is an alum?

Is that true? His wikipage doesn't mention going here. I always knew him as a Hawkeye. I'll remove it unless someone can find a source. Surfbruddah (talk) 20:47, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

Notable Alumni Section

By definition, if people are noteworthy they will have Wikipedia entries. I would urge interested parties to complete entries for those Cornell grades without WP entries to complete them. Otherwise, I think after a reasonable amount of time, the non-WP grads should be deleted. Will welcome comments. Best regards. SlimmerVirgin (talk) 01:47, 14 July 2012 (UTC)

Source for school grounds area as 129 acres

The edit which added the size of the campus as 129 acres was made in April 2006 and contains no sources for this figure.

However, at this point we should be very careful to avoid an XKCD/978 situation where we might be citing a source which in turn pulled its figures from Wikipedia somewhere between April 2006 and today. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.62.220.200 (talk) 05:09, 28 January 2016 (UTC)

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Cornell College. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it.
