Name at birth
[edit]Cornell [1] or Cornel [2] Friedmann? Lars T. (talk) 20:29, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
- Cornell is in hungarian Kornél, when a text is translated to english (french, etc.) sometimes is translated the name too - I don't know why. So the birthname of Cornell Capa was Friedmann Kornél. Second question: Friedmann Kornél (normal, official hungarian form) or Kornél Friedmann (if we speek in english, etc. we use this form...)
- Here [3] is: Cornell Capa (Friedmann Kornél). This site in english: Secretariat of National Anniversaries. Kabóca (talk) 09:39, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you for your help, I have changed the article accordingly. Lars T. (talk) 20:23, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- But in the English Wikipedia we put the first name first in relating the birth names of Hungarians. To be consistent, I changed this one. See also his brother Robert Capa and George Soros.--JohnnyB256 (talk) 14:17, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Add structure
[edit]Consider replacing "Life and Works" with multiple sections to accommodate a larger amount of information. This would meet the Wikipedia guidelines requiring "a system of heirarchical section headings."
i. Life - bio type info, birth, death, family, etc. ii. Career - chronological explanation of his career as a photographer/photojournalist iii. Notable Works (would be a great place to add some photos) iv. Awards recieved v. Contributions - ICP, Awards given in his honor, maybe some quotes from some notable artists and photojournalists about the influence he has had on their work.

Works
[edit]Consider putting some of his more notable works and explaining their importance Ebw7 (talk) 03:00, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- Nice idea.--150.212.68.198 (talk) 14:41, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
