Not his personal website
I don't think that is his personal web site. I don't think the guy HAS a personal web site. Just because someone made a webpage about Corin Nemec and wrote everything in first-person doesn't mean it's official. -- DigiFluid
- nooooooo hes a scientologist! i hoe xenu doesnt get him —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.14.141.146 (talk • contribs) 16:17, 2006 November 27
- This is the worst news since hearing that Gandalf is gay, not that there's anything wrong with that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.90.16.2 (talk • contribs) 11:09, 2007 June 19
- Indeed, it states that, "[This] is a fan site run and owned by Adele Beverley" at the bottom of http://corinnemec.com/homepage.htm. I have changed the name of the link to reflect that. RxVUx6EB 10:05, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- His personal site is: http://www.oursites.org/corinnemec/ and yes, unfortunately a $cientologist. :/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.19.205.237 (talk • contribs) 03:59, August 21, 2007
- Does anyone have a reference to back http://www.oursites.org/corinnemec/ as belonging to him? —MJBurrage(T•C) 22:13, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
Involvement in hip-hop culture
Corin's made reference to an album he recorded produced by a relative of Paul Mooney. Balthazar Getty was involved as well. He's said on a fansite that he has the master reels (my friend asked him the questions).
I have an article (hard copy) concerning him freestyling.
Unfortunately, I have no hard copy or dub of him rapping on MTV's Spring Break in company of Ed Lover and Dre.
Can someone help me get this in the article? It's something that's very much a part of his life and would probably increase the article from the current stub status. Anyone wanna give me a hand? —Arcana imperii Ascendo tuum 00:04, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
Notable
The article needs to include secondary sources that talk about him in a serious way. I can't do anything about it right now. Thanks. Steve Dufour (talk) 13:38, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- I seem to back on the project (maybe not exactly by popular demand) so I will go ahead and nominate for speedy deletion. Steve Dufour (talk) 16:22, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'll expand w/ multiple secondary WP:RS/WP:V sources that "talk about him in a serious way". Cirt (talk) 16:34, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. No objection from me in that case. Steve Dufour (talk) 19:21, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'll let you know when I'm done w/ a spate of expansion/sourcing, and you can reassess notability then if you like, or take it to AfD. But please just give me a little time to work on it first. Cirt (talk) 19:22, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. I'm taking a break from Project Scientology until I am invited back, so that should give you plenty of time. Steve Dufour (talk) 21:33, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for the notice. Cirt (talk) 21:33, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Haven't had time to work on this one but clearly at least one other editor thinks the subject of the article is notable - [1]. Cirt (talk) 05:34, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Origin
"Nemec" is obviously Czech a name meaning "the German". Prehaps his family came from Germany and Czech Republic...
Yes, Němec, or in its Americanised version, Nemec, is a Czech surname meaning a someone whose ancestors were Germans (to be precise, original meaning is "a mute person"). If someone doesn't believe that, just look at the name of his home-town's mayor - Mark Stodola (stodola means a barn). The American south is where most Czechs live. Having said that, I decided to take a neutral stance and simply deleted the obvious misinformation about his roots while NOT writing something I cannot prove. Scientology
Wasn't he in Scientology at one point? Is he still in? Seems important to the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.7.88.140 (talk) 12:58, 19 March 2015 (UTC)

Scientology connection
The article currently says (without citing any sources) that Corin Nemec "is a lifelong adherent of Scientology." I am not disputing Nemec's connection to Scientology, but it is my understanding that a BLP should mention someone's religious beliefs only if (1) he/she has publicly self-identified with the belief in question, and (2) his/her beliefs are relevant to his/her public life or notability. Can anyone find reliable published sources which would substantiate these points w/r/t Nemec? If not, I'm inclined to remove the Scientology references from the article. — Richwales (no relation to Jimbo) 02:32, 31 August 2017 (UTC)
- I've removed the statement in question from the article. Anyone is welcome to add it back, but only if it's accompanied by reliable sources conforming to the expectations of the BLP policy. If no such sources are forthcoming in the near future, then I believe the reference (here on the talk page) to WikiProject Scientology should be removed as well. — Richwales (no relation to Jimbo) 16:32, 1 September 2017 (UTC)
- Since no one has come forward with sources for this claim, I've removed the WikiProject Scientology reference from this talk page. Again, anyone is welcome to add it all back, if (and only if) it is accompanied by reliable sources and the inclusion of the claim is consistent with what the BLP policy says about mentioning religious affiliations. — Richwales (no relation to Jimbo) 03:45, 19 September 2017 (UTC)

Height error
His height is either 6ft or it is 180cm, it cannot be both.
6ft is 183cm, not 180cm.
I notice in the edit section it just shows height in ft only, so it looks like the metric version is added automatically, which is poor when it is incorrect. Neil8r (talk) 18:51, 13 March 2022 (UTC)
