Signed with the Rangers
[edit]On November 29th, 2021, Seager signed a 10 year, 330 million dollar deal with the Texas Rangers 168.220.169.162 (talk) 01:27, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
- No source says that he "signed" it. – Muboshgu (talk) 01:31, 30 November 2021 (UTC)

- Calebh98 where does that article say "signed"? I see
are in agreement
. That's not "signed". – Muboshgu (talk) 16:51, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
I thought it said signed in that article, my mistake. It says signed in this one from a few minutes ago though.

- Fair, that one does say "signed". Trouble is, they're not accurate in saying that. Many deals that get announced by reporters who are "breaking news" often get ahead of themselves. Deals do fall through from this point without getting signed. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Sports/Handling sports transactions for more info and examples. – Muboshgu (talk) 18:18, 30 November 2021 (UTC)

- Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 16:51, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
- Zbooth24, this is a reported sports transaction. The reporting is based on anonymous sources and awaiting an official announcement. We are not a breaking news site. We reflect transactions after they happen, not before. – Muboshgu (talk) 16:52, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
