The article states
[edit]The article states that the programme can be used to create different types of artwork "using a pen tablet such as the Wacom pen tablet". This last statement is misleading and should be deleted, since such a tablet is an aid, but is not a must for using the software.
Problems of the article
[edit]The sentence "One could say that any illustration that can be made by a human hand can be done with Corel Photo-Paint, and more." is pure marketing and should probably be removed. Also, the article lacks much information of how CPP compares to Adobe Photoshop. It is also not clear who at all still uses this software as I generally have the impression that everyone uses Photoshop (maybe only Photoshop Elements) for what Photo-Paint would be used... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Subwy (talk • contribs) 12:10, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- Comparing this article to photoshop's just shows how much work needs to be done on this article. I prefer the functionality of photo-paint so seeing this poor excuse of an article is depressing.-NeF (talk) 00:09, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
Photo-Paint is definitely still the choice of many over PhotoShop, especially outside of the US. I'm in the US, and I also prefer Photo-Paint to PhotoShop. The article needs to be updated to reflect the current version as 2022, as it is now much more full featured. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DigArtist (talk • contribs) 06:38, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
