New page for Core M

[edit]

Now that the Core M series contains CPUs with both Broadwell and Skylake architecture, shouldn't there be a seperate page for Core M? Right now Core M still links to the page about Broadwell. --46.223.128.36 (talk) 22:03, 18 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Actually no, there would be no need for a separate article – "Core M" is only a marketing term for a category of CPUs designed for use in portable computers and other low-power applications. It should be redirected to the Skylake (microarchitecture) article, though. — Dsimic (talk | contribs) 05:12, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
What if people are looking for information about 5Y51? At least there should be a separated section about Core M, or a link to The list? --128.141.24.172 (talk) 08:44, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Redirecting to Skylake is redirecting to an item that is not a super, nor a subclass. 91.9.116.174 (talk) 03:06, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

On second thought, having it as a disambiguation page actually makes sense. — Dsimic (talk | contribs) 13:48, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
