Come on, The Mars Volta usage of the frogs is awesome.

Hawaii

It would be interesting if someone had some information on the Coqui explosion in Hawaii which has taken place in the last 6 or 7 years.

"This animal...?"

Page states that "This animal is the unofficial symbol of the island of Puerto Rico."

WHICH ANIMAL? Earlier in the same paragraph, it's talking about SEVERAL SPECIES. Isn't the one that's the symbol Eleutherodactylus coqui? If so, it seems that this information would more correctly be posted on the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_coqui page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.75.193.32 (talk) 00:47, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

DISAMBIGUATION needed

Many people who search for "coqui" are ONLY looking for information on the species Eleutherodactylus coqui (now cited as "common coqui"*), NOT a collection of "several species." This needs to be made clear using the Wiki "disambiguation" code (which I don't know how to do, and don't have time to figure out at the moment). (*See also my comment at the "common coqui" page RE: how that page needs to be renamed [and "common coqui" REDIRECTED] to "Eleutherodactylus coqui"].) philiptdotcom 01:01, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

100 decibels

This needs a citation, otherwise it should be eliminated. It also needs a measure of distance from the frog in case it does produce a 100dB sound. --Ljvillanueva (talk) 18:11, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Question

How is the coqui population impacted during natural disasters? How was it impacted by the hurricane season in 2017 with Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria?
