The other kind of copybook

[edit]

Copybooks were also a kind of exercise book. An example of good handwriting was printed at the top of the page, which the student had to copy. The expression "to blot ones' copybook" comes from this usage. Totnesmartin 12:43, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Two articles

[edit]

Is there a reason why this isnt 2 seperate articles, since the two sections are totally unrelated?bill (talk) 23:40, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've tagged the article for splitting into two separated articles: Copybook (programming) and Copybook (education). — Loadmaster (talk) 16:23, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and did the split. — Loadmaster (talk) 16:52, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
