Cleanup-importance
[edit]As it stands now, the article looks like an advertisement for the ski resort. It should be cleanup so that it contains for encyclopedia information. --Hurricane111 00:07, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
That should do, for now, at least. I'm visiting there again tomorrow after several years' absence, so maybe I'll think of more. --Djhobo9 19:10, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
- Edits entered as part of a class project[1] only made the article read more like a Chamber of Commerce brochure. Do not students at a Harvard cyber law class have any better appreciation of the difference between encyclopedic content and a promotional pamphlet? Smithdaughtery 07:35, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
I've gone ahead and cleaned up all marketing-seeming material. It's more condensed and tighter now, but if you disagree, feel free to make changes and/or add that notice at the top. --Philosophistry (talk) 23:35, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
Photographs
[edit]Added three photos of various locations at Copper Mountain. Hopefully that should satisfy the need for photos for now. --DebateLord 04:58, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
Fortress?
[edit]Somebody changed the name of the company Copper is operated by from Intrawest to 'Fortress'. Was this vandalism, or is that the name of the new operator? I remember something about it being sold, but don't remember the details. In the meantime, I've changed it back to Intrawest.--DebateLord 03:01, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- I thought it was spam as well, but i just did a quick google search: intrawest fortress. Here's one result: Ski Press ArticleSearles2sels (PJ) 16:45, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Copper Logo Large.gif
[edit]Image:Copper Logo Large.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
