  1. The lede could do with expanding to cover the article a few more lines about the port and settlement  Done
  2. After its founding, El Copano was a common port used by pirates and smugglers.needs a cite  Done
  3. As does This came to an end in 1864, when a Union fleet anchored just off Copano, causing the settlers to leave for several days. Done
  4. Can the Decline section be expanded any more about the civil war or aftermath
