Virgin Cola

Could the reason why they took the word "virgin" out of some versions be that they knew a drink called "Virgin Cola" might be coming out soon, thus it might conflict with the 7up ads? JayKeaton 20:04, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

Prize?

I remember a friend of mine had this game on his SNES. At the back of the manual, it stated that if you could complete this game on the hardest difficulty setting without using continues, the true ending would be shown. If a player took a photo of their screen showing the true ending and sent it to Virgin Interactive, they would receive a prize.

I don't remember all the details (what the prize was, etc), so I haven't added this to the article. Perhaps someone with the manual lying around could check and add it? In the case that it was region-specific, this was a PAL version (Australian). 58.110.130.74 12:28, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

disambiguation

Shouldn't this page be split into two separate articles? The Cool Spot was an entire advertising campaign on television, and separate from the video games produced. --Roehl Sybing 02:22, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Mixed games ("Spot" not the same as "Cool Spot")

I just found this page linked to the "List of Nintendo Entertainment System games", which is wrong (I'll post in that Talk page after this one).

In this page, the game being discussed (Cool Spot) was never released on the NES. However, in the links section, there's a link to Mobygames "Spot", which is the NES game.

So, obviously, both games got mixed up within the same article, and probably some wiki lists. I would have changed it myself, but I don't know if you actually want to create separate articles for each game, or if you want to handle the spot character in a single article. Also, must a new "Spot (NES)" page be created or is there already one somewhere (I couldn't find one). Raven-14 (talk) 04:24, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
