Why no explanations for second and third term?
[edit]I don't think it's right that only the first term gets an explanation but not the other two. What was wrong with the brief explanation that I added (taken from the first sentence of those articles)? EMsmile (talk) 01:04, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- The first sentence of portable stove articles says "specially designed to be portable and lightweight". You don't think lightweight is correct there? EMsmile (talk) 01:06, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- WP:MOSDAB says, "Keep the description associated with a link to a minimum, just sufficient to allow the reader to find the correct link. In many cases, the title of the article alone will be sufficient and no additional description is necessary." Kitchen stove vs. portable stove are good examples of no additional description being necessary.
- Here's a portable stove that weighs 35 lb: [1]. I don't call that lightweight. Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 02:16, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- Well I think it never hurts to give a short description, keeping in mind that many readers are not native English speakers. But fine. - The article portable stove articles currently says "specially designed to be portable and lightweight". Maybe raise it on the talk page there if you think that's wrong. Perhaps there are actually two types of portable stoves - the lightweight ones and the heavier ones. Similar to portable toilets. The word "portable" is ill defined... Those rocket stoves can also be portable but not light weight... EMsmile (talk) 02:24, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
