Recent move
[edit]I didn't see any discussion before this move. There are numerous articles listed on Google that refer to the King's Yard. Should it be Kings or King's? Pterre (talk) 21:46, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
With the apostrophe would be correct. In his diary for 22 Aug 1665 Samuel Pepys refers to it as "the King's yard". Robkam (talk) 23:25, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
- The appropriate name for this article is Convoys Wharf as that is what it is called. WP:Common name applies here. If it does get changed to The King's Yard in the future, some consideration should be given at that time to changing the name of the article. SilkTork *YES! 01:28, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

Planning application
[edit]The Planning application section needs updating. The amended outline planning application has been rejected by the GLA for not complying with the London Plan, etcetera. See london.gov.uk, Planning Decisions 2 February 2011, Convoys Wharf, Deptford. Robkam (talk) 18:10, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
LB&SCR docks
[edit]The LB&SCR docks were at Deptford Wharf (aka Dudman's Dock) not Convoys Wharf, though there was a spur line to the Foreign Cattle Market. There is some info about it in London Bridge to East Croydon by Vic Mitchell & Keith Smith, Middleton Press, 1988, ISBN 0906520584 --Robkam (talk) 11:21, 11 February 2013 (UTC)
Material from Convoys Wharf was split to Deptford Wharf on 9 March 2013.
