It's NOT Carter Morrison, it's Hayes

[edit]

We have FIFE TIMES VANDALISM by a user User:24.105.151.238/User:24.90.171.188 with a changing IP address, but it Is indeed the same person. Please make sure, he/she doesn't change the main characters name back to "Carter", as it clearly is "Hayes" according to the official full trailer by ABC on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJqg6J4JeLg. Indeed, the name was persumed to be Carter in an early version. So I added a section telling "As the pilot was committed, the main characters name has been Carter Morrison, which could have been a clear reference to Hayley Atwells former role of Peggy Carter on ABC's Agent Carter.[6] Anyway, as supposed before, the character has been renamed to Hayes Morrison during the process of production." because the source http://deadline.com/2016/02/agent-carter-hayley-atwell-star-conviction-abc-pilot-1201699699/ really said, it is "Carter", but that might change, an well, yeah: it changed according to all other given sources and the trailer (and the episode shown by eOne on L.A. Screenings this May). I reported the vandalism, but please make sure to report it if it is done again. Thanks a lot. – Sarahcarterslover (talk) 16:50, 6 June 2016 (CEST)

Summary

[edit]

In all the summaries of the episodes all the time named Hayes, she's not the only one that solves cases are also Maxine, Tess, Frankie ... but always mention Hayes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.172.151.112 (talk) 21:15, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Episode Twelve

[edit]

Hi. So I see that Episode Twelve is not on the page. Is there any reason why?

Episode 12 is listed in both the Episodes table and the Ratings table. It doesn't have a summary yet, but it hasn't aired yet, either. 76.254.17.245 (talk) 20:47, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A discussion has been helt in December 2016 in the comments. It was NOT me who suggested, leaving the series as "present" even tho it is, of course, over. Other users made the choice, also on the article of Notorious (2016 TV series) to leave it "present" as long as there is not official confimation on side of ABC. And there isn't. I am just keeping up the given status quo, which is, in fact "present". The confirmation about a cancelation will be there in 14 days anyway.--Robberey1705 (talk) 16:56, 6 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Robberey, you are equally responsible for the edit war, and your aggressive approach to this conflict is making it worse, not better. You seem to think you have the right to tell another editor what to do, and he/she will just do it. Conviction was ordered for 13 episodes, ran the 13, did not receive a back nine order and shut down production. How is this not a cancellation? You're playing a semantic game; when a series completes its run, as Conviction has, it's over. Persisting in forcing in a date that suggests it might come back because ABC as never used the word cancelled is inappropriate. You are equally culpable for sourcing your own edits, and for discussion toward consensus to resolve this problem, something that continues to elude you.
BTW, cancellation/renewal orders have no relationship to May Sweeps. They will be made, if not done already, in advance of the broadcast upfronts, which begin May 15; they simply coincidentally fall during the May sweeps period, which is about setting advertising rates. Given that you are a self-appointed expert on these things, one would think you'd know the difference. --Drmargi (talk) 17:32, 6 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Present should be listed. See the documentation for the template; In some cases the fate of a program might be uncertain, for example if there are no announcements that a show has been renewed. If such a program has not aired a new episode in 12 months, "present" can be changed to the date the last episode aired, using {{End date}}. I you disagree, I recommend taking it to the WikiProject Television or Template talk:Infobox television. This should not be changed until the series is officially cancelled. Als, listing "Original release: October 3, 2016" without any end date indicates that all episodes were released on this particular date; for example, what a Netflix series does. -- AlexTW 13:02, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
There's nothing uncertain about the fate of the show. It ran 13 episodes, they didn't order more, it concluded and done. --Drmargi (talk) 13:19, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That is not an official cancellation, nor is there a defined rule or source that states that series' that don't get a back order will most definitely be cancelled. -- AlexTW 13:35, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Facepalm Facepalm There's nothing as amusing as watching the boys at Project TV engage in semantic hair splits over a TV show that ran out its order, and is dead and gone. --Drmargi (talk) 13:51, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Your original research is cute, keep it up. -- AlexTW 14:00, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, we know it's gone, but it's not "official" yet. The ABC upfronts are Tuesday, May 16th at 4 pm. If it's not on their schedule, and it won't be, then it becomes "official". 76.254.23.211 (talk) 18:05, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
