I do not really understand the purpose of this page. It has the XB, YB and -A model? This does not make sense to me. Shouldn't this page, if anything, be a more indepth discussion of the XC-99 and YB-60? If it is intended to cover all variants then there is much more work to be done.Patrick Berry 17:46, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
- I started it some time ago and haven't finished it. My apologies. Ingoolemo talk 19:27, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
- Hey, no worries, I will try to help out with it then. You thinking just the B-36A-J plus XB and YB?Patrick Berry 19:58, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
- I think if the references could be cleaned up and perhaps more citations added this could be a GA, right now I'm thinking just less than a B-class. --Colputt 18:09, 10 September 2007 (UTC)]
- Sad to see that this article hasn't progressed in what 14 years. For those interested in learning about the major operational versions of this imporant (and impressive) aircraft, here is an online series of articles: http://www.joebaugher.com/usaf_bombers/b36.html (ol' Joe's webpages are very interesting and accurate - far more accurate than the corresponding Wiki pages).
