General concerns

[edit]

I have to admit, at its current state, this article doesn't look like GA-quality to me. I will list the main concerns below, followed by what could possibly be done to expand the article:

  1. Mainly, article length; this article is quite short, and lacks a "Commercial performance" or "Chart performance" section that many GAs have
  2. The critical reception section is beyond short, "'Control' met with genrally positive reviews from music critics", but proceeds to only list one review, making the former statement completely false
  3. Not to mention that there are multiple spelling errors are included here
  4. There are zero sources in the "synopsis" part of the music video section, and would have to be deleted if zero sources can be found, making the article even shorter
  5. The "Background and recording" section doesn't necessarily discuss the song's "background", nor its "recording"; it talks about Lords' recording sessions with Bailey and Babble, and states what songs they recorded together, and that's about it
  6. The "Charts" section currently is not in the correct format, so this would need taking care of immediately
  7. Like I said, the lead statement reading "received positive reviews" is false since only one review is listed
  8. Also similar, the statements regarding the music video in the lead are not backed up in the article's references below
  9. If the music video is on YouTube, you could add a link to the official video in the "External links" section here

So to sum it all up, this article needs work. I will allow a week for changes to be made to the article because I could definitely see a great expansion taking place, which could possibly add great depth and detail to the song. Feel free to ping me if you have any other concerns, or once you have finished making any changes or alterations to the article. Good luck and I'm here if you need me! @JAEVI: What is your opinion on failing this article, you expand the article to its fullest capability, and then nominate it for a copy-edit? Carbrera (talk) 01:32, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Carbrera: I will try my best to expand the article. I hope I will make it in a week. Thank you for reviewing the article. JAEVI (talk) 02:55, 6 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Failing due to inactivity. Please renominate it once an expansion has occurred. Thank you. Carbrera (talk) 17:52, 13 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
